What is the Reports Module?
The Reports module provides comprehensive procurement analytics through a library of pre-built reports and a flexible custom report builder. Pre-built reports cover the most common procurement analysis needs: spend breakdowns, supplier performance scorecards, financial summaries, and cycle time tracking. For specialized analysis, the custom report builder lets you drag and drop fields from any module, apply filters and grouping, and save reusable templates. Every report can be exported to PDF, Excel, or CSV, making it easy to share insights with stakeholders who do not have platform access.

Tips & Best Practices
TIP
Schedule the Supplier Scorecard report monthly and share it with your procurement team. Consistent supplier evaluation drives better vendor management and negotiation outcomes.
TIP
Save your most-used custom reports as templates. Your team can run them with a single click, changing only the date range. This ensures consistency in how metrics are calculated and reported.
WARNING
Report data is only as accurate as the underlying transactions. Ensure GRNs are posted on the actual receipt date (not retroactively) and invoices are matched promptly. Delayed data entry distorts cycle time and aging metrics.
- Use the Spend by Category report before budget season to identify your highest-spend areas and negotiate volume discounts.
- Compare Procurement Cycle Time quarter over quarter to measure operational efficiency improvements.
- Export AR/AP Aging reports to Excel for integration with your external accounting system.
- Use the custom report builder to create project-specific spend tracking reports for clients who require procurement transparency.
FAQ
Q: Can I schedule reports to run automatically? A: Scheduled/automated report generation is on the product roadmap. Currently, reports are generated on-demand. You can save templates for quick re-execution.
Q: Who can access the Reports module? A: Users with the Reports permission in their role can access Analytics > Reports. Admin, Procurement Manager, and Finance roles have this permission by default. Viewer roles can see reports but cannot export.
Q: Can I combine data from multiple modules in a single report? A: Yes. The custom report builder allows you to select multiple data sources. For example, you can combine PO data with Invoice data to analyze committed vs. actual spend in a single report.
Q: How far back does the report data go? A: Reports can access all historical data in your Tawridy account from the date of your first transaction. There is no time limit on historical reporting.
Q: Can I share a report link with someone outside the platform? A: Not directly. Export the report to PDF or Excel and share the file. For recurring stakeholder reporting, consider setting up a Viewer role account for the recipient.
